DAY 1

Cannes - L'Esterel - Saint-Raphaël

50 Miles - 3,900 Ft

This route unfolds along the Corniche d’Or, a dramatic coastal road carved into the ochre-red cliffs of the Massif de l’Esterel. As you ride, the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean glimmer below, often separated from the road only by a rocky drop.

The route is framed by jagged

volcanic peaks, rugged forests of pine and cork oak, and the distinctive red rock of the Esterel - a rare geological formation in France.

It feels wild yet accessible. There’s a peaceful, remote charm in the Esterel hills, yet the road is silky smooth, with light traffic. On warm days, the scent of wild herbs, salt air, and warm stone fills the air.

DAY 2

Cannes - Col de Eze

57 Miles - 3,600 Ft

The Cannes - Col d’Èze route, a hallmark climb of the Paris–Nice race, transitions from urban Cannes into the elegant heights above Nice and Monaco. Once you reach the Corniche roads, the views open up to sweeping Mediterranean vistas, with yachts speckling the sea far below.

As you climb Col d’Èze, the view back toward Nice, Cap Ferrat, and Villefranche-sur-Mer becomes more and more expansive, like flying up into the sky.

The roads have a historic Riviera charm, lined with olive trees, villas, and stone walls. It’s a favorite among locals and pros for good reason - the combination of epic views, fast corners, and perfect tarmac makes it feel like a movie set.

DAY 3 (Option A)

Cannes - Col de la Madone

48 Miles - 4,750 Ft

After tracing the coast past Monaco and Menton, the road into the Col de la Madone climb narrows and winds gently through rustic mountain villages and lush forested slopes. The vegetation is green and thick and the road snakes upward with occasional windows of stunning sea views. At the summit (~3000 ft), you’re above it all, with views stretching inland to the Alpine foothills and out over the coast.

It’s a route Lance Armstrong famously used as his reference climb during training, and you’ll often see many international pros testing their form, including legends like Chris Froome, and modern riders like Philippe Gilbert, Tom Pidcock, and Egan Bernal. It’s quiet and contemplative, with few cars and fewer distractions. There's a feeling of having climbed out of the bustle and into a different, almost monastic space.

Day 3

Cannes - Col de La Madone -

Col de Brause

Option B

74 Miles - 8,700 FT

DAY 3 (Option B)

Col de la Madone - Col de Braus

74 Miles - 8,700 Ft

Cycle through the legendary training grounds of world-class pros on a route that includes Col de la Madone and Col de Braus. While Col de Braus has featured in the Tour de France with its dramatic hairpin turns, Col de la Madone earned its reputation as a private testing climb for elite cyclists, thanks to its steady gradient, peaceful setting, and sweeping coastal views.

And for the most challenging ride we are adding the Col de Braus route - a visually iconic climb tested by Tour de France, renowned for its tightly coiled hairpin switchbacks that trace the mountain in rhythmic, almost architectural precision.

As you ascend, the landscape transforms from olive groves and dry stone walls into wooded hillsides of oak, beech, and larch, revealing sweeping vistas of the Mercantour foothills and the Mediterranean basin behind you.

The road is smooth and narrow, curving elegantly around ridges and cliffs, with panoramic views unfolding in stages — like a slow reveal.
