RULES AND DETAILS
 

Registration:

You are registering to participate as a rider at the The Next Ride 2022.

By registering you agree to raise a minimum of $10,000 or $20,000 (with or without spouse) to benefit The Next Step, a non-profit organization in Israel dedicated to supporting and rehabilitating children and adults suffering from limb-loss. Registration fee is $500 non-refundable.

Registration fee will be applied towards your minimum goal of $10,000 or $20,000 (without/with spouse). Registration ends July 1, 2023 or when maximum number of participants is reached.



Re-commitment:

Re-commitment schedule -

For Rider with Spouse
A minimum of $5,000 by May 1, 2023
A minimum of $10,000 by June 15, 2023
A minimum of $15,000 by August 1, 2023
A Minimum of $20,000 by September 10, 2023

For Rider with No Spouse
A minimum of $2,500 by
May 1, 2023
A minimum of $5,000 by June 15, 2023
A minimum of $7,500 by August 1, 2023
A Minimum of $10,000 by September 10, 2023

On these dates, if you have not yet raised the total of the minimum required on your page, the credit card provided at registration you will be charged for the balance towards the minimum at that time. The re-commitment fee is the balance remaining towards the minimum at that time after applying the $500 registration fee and/or any funds raised until then. Any funds raised by you thereafter will be posted towards the total sum of the re-commitment charge which will be refunded accordingly.

On September 10, 2023, if you have not yet raised the total of $10,000 or $20,000
(without/with spouse), your credit card will be charged for the balance towards $10,000 or $20,000 (with or without spouse). The re-commitment fee is the balance remaining towards the $10,000 or $20,000 (without/with spouse) after applying the $500 registration fee, the recommitment fee, and/or any funds raised until September 10, 2023. Any funds raised by you by Nov. 5, 2023 will be posted towards the total sum of the re-commitment charge which will be refunded accordingly.

Your guaranteed participation is contingent on raising $10,000 or $20,000 (with or without spouse) or authorizing the re-commitment fee balance by September 10, 2023.

All extra charges, i.e. spouse travel and participation fees, single occupancy, etc., must be paid by October 1, 2022.

If registration is made after September 10, 2023, a full fee of $10,000 or $20,000
(without/with spouse) and extras must be authorized at time of registration.

If a rider fails to submit donations or payments and/or re-commitment amounts at the dates of set schedule above, rider will be placed on Wait List. TNR (Israel Medical Fund) reserves the right to retain funds raised by any rider in the event of re-commitment requirements of donations and/or payments at the set scheduled dates are not met. Funds will not be refunded or deferred ro next year's ride.

If a rider does not participate, or does not reach his minimum required goal, or if TNR changes the destination and arrangements originally posted, there will be no refund or deferment of any or partial funds already raised.



Travel:

YOU MUST TRAVEL ON GROUP FLIGHT TO RECEIVE THE FREE AIRFARE INCLUDED. 

THERE WILL BE NO REFUND, TRAVEL ALLOWANCE OR LESSER FUNDRAISING AVAILABLE IF YOU'RE NOT ON THE GROUP FLIGHT, OR IF YOU HAVE NOT MET YOUR REQUIRED MINIMUM FUNDRAISING AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. GROUP FLIGHT, TRAVEL ALLOWANCE AND DISCOUNTED FUNDRAISING FOR THOSE BOOKING THEIR OWN TRAVEL, WILL ONLY BE PROVIDED TO THOSE THAT HAVE MET THEIR MINIMUM FUNDRAISING REQUIREMENTS BY SEPT. 10, 2023.


NO REFUNDS ARE MADE FOR ANY DONATIONS PROCESSED THROUGH OUR WEBSITE, UNLESS IT WAS AN ENTRY ERROR. ANY DONATIONS FUNDRAISED ON BEHALF OF THE NEXT RIDE/THE NEXT STEP/ISRAEL MEDICAL FUND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

All-inclusive trip:

Each participant will receive the following -
 
  • Registration and participation at The Next Ride events
  • One Round trip coach class ticket from anywhere in the US to TLV (Connection through JFK/EWR)
  • Hotel stay for 7 days/6 nights at The Carmel Spa Hotel and The Waldorf Astoria (based on double occupancy)
  • Gourmet meals (Mehadrin) served daily
  • Full nutritional, medical, security and mechanical support along rides’ routes
  • Transportation from Ben Gurion International Airport to The Carmel Spa Hotel and The Waldorf Astoria to Ben Gurion International Airport for group flight passengers ONLY

  • 2 T-Shirts
